IR Paracetamol and SR Paracetamol were found to be similar in terms of
analgesia reduction & temperature, however SR Paracetamol has a longer
duration of activity than IR Paracetamol. Pain Med. 2013 MAR; 14(3) : 436-41

Paracetamol is effective in relieving pain due to Osteoarthritis, for safety
reasons paracetamol should be first line treatment, while NSAID reserved
for those who do not respond ANN RHEUM DISEASES 2004; 63; : 901-907
